The Time to Take Action is Now
For more than 150 years the Cowlitz Tribe has been fighting for the right to have our own homeland and to be economically self-sufficient. Now some wealthy business interests, card rooms, and an Oregon tribe with its own well-established gaming operation are working hard and spending lavishly to oppose our casino resort project. We very much appreciate your persistent support in letting our elected officials know that there is a growing number of Clark County and Washington State residents who want to see jobs and economic opportunity in our county and state.
Please take a moment now to send a letter, fax or email to your local, county, state and federal elected officials. Their addresses are listed below. Just click on the email link to get started. You can help bring new jobs and a new economic future to Clark County.
Continue to tell your elected officials that you:
- Support keeping 7,000 Washington jobs in Washington!
- Believe economic development for the Cowlitz Tribe and Clark County is the right thing for local residents!
- Oppose out-of-state interference by a rich tribe trying to block any competition!
- Support the Cowlitz Tribe in its efforts to provide education and health care for its members while also preserving its legacy and culture.
