I.t is a long-held commitment of Cowlitz Tribal Chairman John Barnett to "give back more to the community than we take." That is a driving force behind the casino resort project.

The Cowlitz Tribe is committed to being a good neighbor and forming partnerships with local communities, government agencies and service providers, schools, and businesses. Our intent is to be a pillar of the community that shares its success and enhances the surrounding businesses, the economic opportunity of the area, and its citizens.

We want to ensure our neighbors and community partners feel a sense of ownership and pride in the project while also sharing in the benefits and opportunities. The fruits of our partnership will ripple across Southwest Washington.
